Man it was sick. My first time in a $5/$10 game, online. Really loose table, six-handed and everyone was around $1,000. This was when I used to play on InterPoker and the site was full of fools who made unbelievable plays. Anyways, I was around $1,100 and on the button. I get dealt As Ks. The UTG player, let's call him Bill, makes it $40 to go. He gets two callers, John and Rick, respectively. Then I reraise, making it $140 to go. The blinds fold and then UTG calls along with the other callers caught in the middle. So, now there's $590 in the pot, pretty big already. Flop comes down, gorgeously, Qs Js 10d. I've flopped the nut straight and the royal flush draw, AKA the fucking nuts. Bill bets out $160, John folds, and Rick calls. I decide to push it here because I'm almost certain that they both hit it pretty well two, I'm assuming there's another AK in there somewhere or a set or something, so I make it $400 to go. Immediately, Bill moves all in and Rick comes right over the top of him. Of course, I push in as well. The hands are turned. Bill has Qh 5h, a pair of queens, and Rick has 9c 8c, the ass end of the straight. To update, my chances of winning at this point are 96.35%. The pot is now just under $3,500, $3,470 for the pot I could win. But this is a bad beat story. Sure enough, Bill the motherfucking donkeybitchfish, pardon my french, sees the pot go his way. I couldn't believe it, I was stunned because I was dancing, thinking they were drawing dead. But I was wrong. Bill had caught his 2.66% chance of winning, seeing the turn bring the 5d, and the river bring the bitch of clubs, aka the queen of clubs, giving him the boat over my nut straight. I still feel disgusted thinking about the pot that was literally stolen from me. I never played at InterPoker again.
