Title: Oh I do love to be a winner

Blog Entry: Well for my first blog posting, I would like to give myself a great big pat on the back.  After a couple of weeks of bad luck and the odd bit of bad play brought on by bad luck.  I have finally gotten back to winning ways.  For the past two days on the bounce I have won all games entered.  Admittedly they are only $5 SnG's but still when you have been playing as badly as I have any win at any limit is a good confidence booster.  Got mmy bankroll back up into the hundreds of dollars rather than the tens of dollars - phew.The mad thing is you could argue that the change to winning is again about luck as last night I was getting dealt high pair after high pair, or flopping the top straight or the nust flush.  Such a good feeling again to be getting dealt the cards or the flop being favourable.One thing it has taught me during this bleak and fruitless period is that my frame of mind is highly important to play poker. I personally have to be calm, relaxed and not have things racing through my mind.  If I am thinking of loads of things or stressed I make rash and usually wrong calls.  So I have know only started playing when my mind is right - so far seems to be paying off.
